Delete the App Store Icon from the Bottom of the Screen in Windows 8

We will be specifically deleting the App Store icon from the taskbar in the steps below, but you can use these same steps to delete any other icon from your taskbar as well. Deleting the App Store icon will not delete the App Store. The icon that we are deleting is just a shortcut to the App Store that you would otherwise access from the Start menu.   Step 1: Locate the App Store icon in your taskbar.

    Step 2: Right-click the App Store icon in the taskbar, then click the Unpin this program from the taskbar option.
