How to play?
First teams are made. There can be 2-3 members in a team, depending on the number of members present in the house. The organizer of the game hides all the stuff in different corners or places of the house. The things the organizer hides must be written on the piece of a paper. The copy of the paper with the item names is then handed over to every team. When the game starts, all the players are given the hint of the places where the items have been hidden. This goes on for every item. The team to collect the maximum number of items in the given time wins.
Dumb Charades
This one is the most played game in gatherings. The game is all about explaining the people about a movie or a song without uttering a single word.
How to play?
Just like other games, the teams are made. Then the person of the opponent team gives a movie name to the team deciding to enact first. The person who has been given a name of the movie has to enact. The person cannot speak a single word while he tries to explain the movie name or song name. He must do it with actions, there are few signs to suggest whether it is an English movie or a Hindi movie. If the team of the performer guess it right, then the team wins.
Ping pong game
In this game there are only two teams. Plastic glasses are placed at both the ends of the table set up in the triangular formation. There is a drink in every plastic glass. Each team gets few tennis balls.
How to play?
Players throw a ping pong ball across a table to make it land in the glass of the opponent team. If the ball lands in the glass, the member of that team whose glass is being target must drink whatever is placed in the glass. Then the glass gets removed. This process continuous until a team among the two eliminate all the glasses from the table. The 1st team to eliminate all the opponent’s glasses wins.
Pass the parcel
I am sure everyone remembers this game. We used to play this game in every party and event.
How to play?
Now, there are 2 ways of playing this game. 1st one is to select an item that has to be wrapped as a gift. Use as many newspapers as possible you can use to wrap the gift using a lot of tapes. Make sure its hard to tear. Sit in a circle with your family members and play a song. For playing and pausing the song there should be someone who is not a part of the game. When the song plays, rotate the parcel. As soon as the song pauses, the person with the parcel has to open it and when the song plays, he has to start rotating it again. The process continuous. The last person to remove all the newspapers and take out the item out wins.
Truth or dare
Now, this game makes the atmosphere interesting.
How to play?
You have to sit in a circle and rotate the bottle. Wait for the bottle to stop rotating and look for the person on whom the bottle stops. Anyone in the group can ask the targeted person whether he wants to choose truth or dare. If the person chooses to dare give him a dare, and if he opts for truth ask him anything and he must be true with his answer.

Another game that does not need any explanation. You just have to set chairs in a straight line and play music. Assign a person to play and pause music. When music starts run around the chair and when it stops sit on it. If there are 8 people keep 7 chairs so that 1 person is left out. Continue this and the person to remain till the end wins.
